Rubber
Rubber is one of the most commonly used materials. It’s found everywhere in our daily lives. Car tyres, rubbers and toys have different physical characteristics but all are made from this versatile natural material.
The rubber industry came into being in the early 19th century with the discovery of the vulcanization process. This is the process whereby when natural rubber is chemically bonded to sulphur, it acquires new properties including elasticity and greater stability to temperature variations.
Veneta Mineraria supplies its customers with sulphur and mineral fillers. These are used in production processes and serve to facilitate the separation of the finished product from the mould and lend it its desired mechanical properties.
