Sulphur

Most sulphur is recovered from natural gas and oil and has a multitude of industrial uses. Among the most important are the vulcanization of rubber and the production of sulphuric acid, which in turn is the most widely produced industrial chemical product.
Veneta Mineraria has a large portfolio of different types of sulphur. It’s a precious resource for producing free machining steel. In the metal-refining sector it helps to complete the recovery of lead from spent batteries and transform it back into new commercial lead.
The oleate form of sulphur is employed in the vulcanization process: it lends rubber some of its most typical properties, including elasticity and temperature resistance.
